Thought this would be a nice way to propose to my girlfriend...

Self portrait that stands about 2 metres high. 3 colours and a crap load of text.

Text reads:

A knife to cut this stencil,
A knife to make this art,
But no knife has been created,
That can cut you from my heart,

And unlike this fickle paint,
Which will soon be gone and buffed,
Time will never fade away,
The beauty of our love,

Now every night before I sleep,
I'll be on my knees to pray,
That God will keep you next to me,
Until our dying days,

So take my hand and take my heart,
And keep your eyes on Christ,
And let me ask the question,
April....
Will you be my wife?

heheh. Sorry for all the cheese, but chicks love that stuff right? heheh. Did it Christmas night and gave her a spray can wrapped up as a present just before I showed her. The freehand grafitti "tick" is her first work. heheh... Hopefully not the last...

tight 2 layer, clean work - the detail on the chucks is rad.

stencil aside, this is the sweetest thing i've seen in a long time. anyone that walks by this piece has gotta come out with a smile

can't imagine how nervous it would've been spraying this

holy Christ! Dude, I have to praise you for this one. 1. "You" look absolutely incredible: A lot of detail in the face and shoes: The look on your face is hilarious. 2. The colors work so well together. 3. Those shoes look ridiculously good. 4. It must have taken you weeks to cut out the text. 4. Nice job on the poem, ur right girls love that. If i could give you a 100, I would. Good luck with you and ur fiance. Cheers...Let the buffer that cleans this burn in Hell forever!!!!!!

Your portrait's expression, the shoes, the ring of hearts: all fantastic. The story behind it: all the better. I hope they leave this be- really great.

The idea is brilliant.. And also the cuts and spray are very nice!
Good luck with your wife..
I think that after all that text-cutting your fingers should be destroyed.. but it's worth it!
Sweet!
